The Rheoscopic Windtunnel exhibit is still in the prototype phase.
It's an interactive exhibit that let's you play with the concept of a windtunnel on a desktop.
You can pull in a variety of shapes into the flow and see how the currents around them appear.
This exhibit shows laminar and turbulent flows. It can show how a ball flys and how a wing works
The magic of this exhibit is rheoscopic fluid which is 1 liter of water, 1/2 tsp of mica cosmetic powder, and 4 drops of food coloring. We are still experimenting with the design, so there will be much more later on this.
